Karra is part Navajo and Hopi and was raised in Mesa, Arizona. She has been married for 20 years and has 6 children. She is currently the Project Director for Native American Fatherhood Organization (NAFFA). Prior to working at NAFFA, she taught elementary school for seven years before starting my family.
